The bridge carrying Woodbury Pike (Pa. 36) over Halter Creek will be named the Pvt. William E. Green Memorial Bridge, as per Act 17 of 2023. This dedication is set to take place on Thursday, May 16, at 2 p.m.
The ceremony will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church, located at 434 E. Main St., Roaring Spring. Representative Jim Gregory (R-Blair), Senator Judy Ward (R-Blair/Fulton/Huntingdon/Juniata/Mifflin), and representatives of the Green family are expected to attend.
