Chester County recognized International Overdose Awareness Day yesterday by placing 109 pinwheels at the Justice Center, Historic Courthouse and Government Services Center, representing the lives lost to accidental overdose in 2021. Further events included a show of support by representatives from the county’s Chambers of Commerce, and a Night of Light event that remembered those who have lost their life to substance use disorder, and offered hope to those in treatment and seeking long-term recovery.
