Invitation for Bids

Millcreek Township will receive sealed bids labeled for Millfair Road Recycling Center Milling and Paving Project until 3:00 p.m. September 7, 2022, at the office of the Millcreek Township Public Service Department, Millcreek Township Municipal Building, 3608 West 26th Street, Erie, PA 16506-2037, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. 

Bids are invited for the following: Milling and paving a portion of the roadways and parking areas within the Millfair Road Recycling Center on Millfair Road in Millcreek Township, Erie County, PA. Contract Documents, including drawings and technical specifications, may be reviewed/obtained at the office of the Millcreek Township Public Services Department, 3608 West 26th Street, Erie, PA 16506, (814-833-1111) for a non-refundable deposit of $25.00.  Addenda, if any, will be issued to only those persons whose name and address are on record as having obtained the Contract Documents. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a certified or cashier's check or bid bond with corporate surety payable to Millcreek Township in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid price. The bidder’s attention is called to the federal and state civil rights and equal employment opportunity requirements and the requirement to pay Prevailing Wage Rates and comply with applicable labor standards provisions, all as set forth in the Contract Documents.  Bids may be held by the Township for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of opening bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding the contract. Millcreek Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities or minor deviations in the bidding.
