Senator Judy Ward of Pennsylvania's 30th District has been appointed to several key committees for the upcoming 2025-26 legislative session. Among these, she will serve as chair of the Senate Transportation Committee, a position that allows her to influence policies affecting the state's infrastructure.

In her role as chair, Senator Ward will oversee Pennsylvania’s multimodal transportation infrastructure. The committee is tasked with addressing critical issues such as road and bridge maintenance, public transit expansion, and modernization of airports, ports, and railways. "Transportation is the lifeline of Pennsylvania’s economy and communities," said Ward.
