Ace fix-it-Hardware to give away American flags

Ace fix-it-Hardware will give away free American flags on Saturday, May 28 to honor the Memorial Day holiday.

Pennsylvania lost 2,030 soldiers in the Korean war and 1,859 in the Vietnam conflict.

Consumers visiting the store at 1112 Logan Ave, Tyrone will receive a free 8’ by 12’ American flag. A second will be donated to the local VFW Anderson-Denny Post to be used for marking veterans’ graves on Memorial Day.

This year, Ace Hardware Corporation aims to again give away more than one million American flags nationally. Last year, it gave away more than 500,000 to Ace customers and more than 550,000 to more than 1,900 VFW Posts.

Flags will be available at Ace fix-it-Hardware while quantities last. Each consumer is limited to one free flag; no purchase is necessary.

Ace fix-it-Hardware is located at 1112 Logan Ave, Tyrone, Pennsylvania. This location is owned by Charles A Bickel, represented by Chris Miller and managed by Brad Gardner.
