St. Michael recently issued the following announcement.
Eucharistic Prayer Class with Fr. Alan In preparation for the Eucharistic renewal which the U.S. Bishops hope to undertake in 2022, Fr. Alan will be offering a series of classes on the Eucharistic Prayers used at Mass.
Topics include:
• Which one of the Eucharistic Prayers comes from the oldest sources?
• Which of them is the most recent?
• To whom are each of them addressed?
• What is the role of deacons and the lay faithful in the Eucharistic Prayer?
A line-by-line explanation of each of the Eucharistic Prayers may help you participate more readily in this important part of the Mass. If you are interested in attending, classes will be offered in person beginning on Tuesday, Sept. 21st, at 6:30 PM, at St. Michael Church. Hopefully the classes will be recorded to allow remote participation as well.
