Census Bureau: 77.1 percent of people in Chester County were old enough to vote in 2019

Of the 519,560 citizens living in Chester County in 2019, 400,470 were old enough to vote as of Jan. 26, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 205,286 of those people were female and 195,184 were male.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau’s American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.
