Pennsylvania House Republican Leader Jesse Topper announced that the Pennsylvania Broadband Development Authority has given provisional approval to $793 million in broadband expansion projects throughout the state. The approval is pending federal review.

The authority’s decision also starts a seven-day public comment period before the projects are submitted for federal consideration. Community members can review the draft proposal and submit feedback through resources provided by the Pennsylvania Broadband Development Authority on its website.
