On Sunday, March 2, former Chestnut Ridge Senior High School standout Nate Whysong’s current college team, the Wake Forest Deacons, won 9-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Maryland Terrapins.

The game took place at David F. Couch Ballpark. This was their second matchup against the Terrapins this season.

The Deacons’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 4 at 4 p.m. at Jim and Bettie Smith Stadium against Appalachian State Mountaineers.
