Of the 45,879 citizens living in Perry County in 2021, 78.5% were old enough to vote, equating to 36,008 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 18,169 were male, constituting 50.5%, and 17,839 were female, making up 49.5%.
