Cost of college went up for all students at Greater Altoona Career & Technology Center

Tuition and fees rose 0.4 percent for 2018-19 at Greater Altoona Career & Technology Center, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Pennsylvania students paid $14,960 to attend the public school this year – $67 more than the $14,893 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 92 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 179 students received grants or scholarships totaling $946,536 and 144 students took out student loans totaling more than $818,576.

Including all undergraduates (320), 210 students used grants or scholarships totaling $1 million, and 173 students took out $1 million in federal student loans.
