Chestnut Ridge Central Elementary School recently issued the following announcement.
Health and Safety Plan for 2020-2021 School Year
On July 14, 2020, Chestnut Ridge School District Board of Directors approved a Health and Safety Plan for the 2020-2021 school year. The adoption of this plan was a necessary prerequisite for the reopening of school for in-person instruction.
The Pennsylvania Department of Education has provided a phased reopening plan. Currently, we are under the "Green" phase which permits Chestnut Ridge School District to resume in-person instruction with health and safety considerations as described in the Health and Safety Plan. As such, the current plan is for students to return to school on August 20, 2020
Over the coming days and weeks, there will be videos, Q&A opportunities, and further information regarding the latest updates that we are receiving from the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
Thank you for your continued support as we navigate this path together.
Dr. Mark J. Kudlawiec
Superintendent of Schools
