Motorists aged 55 and older are invited to participate in the Seniors for Safe Driving class organized by Representative Rich Irvin. The class is scheduled for Thursday, July 24, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Westminster Woods, located at 360 Westminster Drive in Huntingdon.

“This comprehensive safety class provides participants with valuable information and some helpful driving tips geared specifically for older motorists,” said Irvin. “I encourage all interested drivers to register for the class.”

The program, approved by PennDOT, aims to help older drivers adjust their driving techniques and habits in response to challenges they may face on the road. The course does not require any on-the-road driving or exams.

Upon completing the class, participants will be eligible for a minimum 5% discount on their auto insurance premiums for three years. Interested individuals can register online or by calling 1-800-559-4880. The registration fee is $17.

For further details, contact Irvin’s district office at 814-644-2996.
