Senator Judy Ward has recently addressed several issues and events through her social media posts, focusing on legislative developments and her engagement with women in the trucking industry.

On July 9, 2025, Senator Ward commented on the progress of Senate Bill 9, known as the “Save Women’s Sports Act.” She stated, “Despite the strong bipartisan passage of Senate Bill 9, the ‘Save Women’s Sports Act’, out of the Senate, the House continues to play games with women’s rights and the protections enshrined in Title IX. On July 11, 2025, Senator Ward shared her experience as a keynote speaker at an industry event. She wrote, “It was an honor to be a keynote speaker at the American Trucking Association’s second annual symposium for Women In Motion (WIM) at FedEx’s Ground Headquarters in Pittsburgh.”

Later that day, she highlighted the mission of Women In Motion (WIM) and her participation in policy discussions. According to Ward’s post from July 11, “WIM connects and uplifts women across the trucking industry with training, mentorship and networking opportunities. I had the opportunity to present on the key policies and initiatives shaping the future of Pennsylvania’s multimodal transportation system.”

Women In Motion is an initiative by The American Trucking Associations designed to support women working within all segments of freight transportation.
