Senator Judy Ward (R-30) announced that projects in Fulton, Huntingdon, and Juniata counties have received a total of $2.1 million from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s Multimodal Transportation Fund (MTF). The funding will support improvements to local infrastructure.

Ward stated, “Our local government partners maintain more roadways than PennDOT. I appreciate the award of more than $2 million to improve critical infrastructure in rural Pennsylvania.”

The MTF was created through Act 89 of 2013 to provide funding for priority transportation projects across various modes, aiming to ensure a safe and reliable transportation system.

Further details about the program can be found on PennDOT’s website.
