On Friday, Feb. 14, former Altoona Area High School standout Evan Alwine’s current college team, the FIU Golden Panthers, won 7-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Stonehill Skyhawks.

The game took place at FIU Baseball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Skyhawks this season.

The Golden Panthers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 15 at 5 p.m. at FIU Baseball Stadium against Stonehill Skyhawks.
