On Friday, Feb. 14, former Chestnut Ridge Senior High School standout Nate Whysong’s current college team, the Wake Forest Deacons, won 14-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the LIU Sharks.

The game took place at David F. Couch Ballpark. This was their first matchup against the Sharks this season.

The Deacons’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 14 at 6 p.m. at David F. Couch Ballpark against Marist Red Foxes.
